Set up a New Account, Stop or Transfer Service

New Customers

If you require natural gas service at your property and it is an existing service site, visit Customer Advantage and click the “Start Service” button. Alternatively, you can contact our Customer Care Centre at 1-866-222-2067, at least two (2) working days in advance so all necessary arrangements can be made.

If your property does not have a gas line installed, apply to Install a Natural Gas Service Line.


Billing:

To sign-up for paperless billing, visit Customer Advantage and click “Sign up”.

Current Customers

If you wish to stop or transfer their natural gas service, you can complete this request through Customer Advantage. If you have a Customer Advantage profile, log in to Customer Advantage and complete the specific request under the “Service Requests” menu.

If you have not registered for a Customer Advantage profile, you can contact the Customer Care Centre at 1-866-222-2067, at least two (2) business days in advance, so all necessary arrangements can be made.

If you transferred your service and pay your bill through online banking, please remember to update your payment details with your new Apex Utilities account number.

 

Adding Additional Parties to your Account

If you wish to add a third party or co-responsible person to your account, we require written authorization.

If you have not registered for a Customer Advantage profile, visit Customer Advantage, click “Submit a Form”, and complete the “Account Access Authorization”.

If you have a Customer Advantage profile, log in to Customer Advantage, click “Online Forms”, and complete the “Account Access Authorization”.

 

Service Disconnection

During the winter season, if you wish to discontinue natural gas service to your property, we require your written authorization.

Please note while gas services are temporarily disconnected and/or meter is removed, the minimum daily charge applies while the gas is turned off or until service is permanently disconnected at your service site. This is because we must continue to operate and maintain our system whether you are using gas or not. A temporary disconnection becomes a permanent disconnection after twelve (12) months. At that point, we will stop applying the minimum daily charge.

If you have a Customer Advantage profile, log in to Customer Advantage, click “Online Forms”, and complete the “Service Disconnection Agreement”.
